What do BGC volunteers do?

• Volunteers are role models, guiding and nurturing our #TechDivas and #FutureTechBosses.

• Some volunteers use their technical know-how as instructors and assistants.

• Others help keep students happy and healthy through the day and support the team, including set up, staffing a welcoming registration desk, and break down.

• Photographers and social media enthusiasts help tell our story.
  

• Our Core Teams volunteers lead their local chapters.

• We need technologists of all kinds, media makers and storytellers, organizers and logistics perfectionists, and we need your people skills. Black Girls CODE is all about providing role models, creating safe spaces, and building a powerful community.
